TESTIMONY OF MAQBOOL

Greetings to you in the mighty Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
My name is Maqbool. I live in the slums of Islamabad, Pakistan, and earn my living by selling goat milk. I live in deep poverty, and one of my legs is paralyzed. Because of my disability, I often missed attending church services.
An evangelist from our community learned about me and visited my home one day. He shared the Word of God with me. After his first visit, he continued coming regularly to share God’s Word and His wonderful works. Day by day, my love and desire to know more about the Lord grew stronger. I could only listen to God’s Word when the evangelist visited me.
I had a great desire to have my own Bible so that I could read it whenever I wanted, but because of my poverty, I was unable to buy one. One day, the evangelist came and said, “Today I have brought a gift for you.” He then presented me with a brand-new Bible. I was filled with joy and glorified Jesus as I received my first Bible ever. For me, this Bible is a priceless and precious treasure.
That day, I rejoiced greatly and felt like the most fortunate man in the world. I decided to keep this Bible with me at all times. My favorite verse is Romans 10:17, which says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
May the Lord bless each and every person involved in spreading God’s Word among poor and needy believers. I am truly blessed by this project and pray that the Lord will draw many lost souls to Himself through this ministry.

TESTIMONY OF MUSHTAQ MASIH

My name is Mushtaq Masih. I am 47 years old and live in Islamabad, Pakistan. I had a very hard childhood, and as I grew up, I became addicted to smoking and alcohol. Although God blessed me with a loving and faithful wife and six wonderful children, my bad habits kept me distant from my family and far from God. I never prayed or went to church, and my life was filled with darkness, financial struggle, and broken relationships. My wife and children continued to pray and attend church, even when I failed to understand their faith and took it lightly.

One day a pastor visited our home and prayed for our family. That night, God warned me through a vision of hell, and in fear I cried out to Jesus for mercy. The Lord saved me, forgave my sins, and gave me a new life. By His grace, I received my first Bible, quit smoking and drinking completely, and now desire to obey and follow Christ with my whole heart. God gave me a second chance, and I testify that He is loving, powerful, and faithful to deliver all who trust in Him. All praise and glory be to God. Amen

TESTIMONY OF RASHIDA BIBI

My name is Rashida Bibi, and I live in the slums of Islamabad, Pakistan. I have been married for twelve years. My husband works as a daily-wage laborer, and many days he returns home without earning anything. We have five children who are growing up, and as a mother I constantly worried about their needs. Our financial struggles filled my heart with fear, frustration, and complaining. I often felt that God did not care about us, and my life was heavy with sorrow and hopelessness.

One day our pastor visited our home along with an evangelist and prayed for me and my family. After the prayer, I shared my pain and complaints about our situation. They lovingly gave me my first-ever Bible and said, “Spend time with Jesus, and you will find comfort and countless reasons to be thankful.” I had never owned a Bible before. That day, receiving the Holy Bible as a gift was the most precious gift I had ever received. It became the turning point of my life. When I began reading God’s Word, I came across 1 Thessalonians 5:18: “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” This verse pierced my heart. The Holy Spirit convicted me, and I realized how unthankful I had been and how blind I was to God’s blessings. With a repentant heart, I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ and accepted Him as my personal Savior.

From that day onward, God’s Word transformed my life completely. The Bible changed my heart, my thinking, and my attitude. God replaced my complaining with thanksgiving, my fear with faith, and my sorrow with peace. I began praying daily, teaching my children to love Jesus, and guiding my family in the ways of the Lord. The Bible is now my greatest treasure, bringing comfort, strength, and hope into our home. I praise and thank God for giving me a new life in Christ. I encourage everyone to read the Holy Bible and spend time with God. Welcome Jesus into your life, and He will surely change and bless you, just as He has changed mine. May God bless you and fill your heart with peace through His Holy Word.

TESTIMONY OF ELDER SARDAR MASIH

My name is Elder Sardar Masih, and I live in Sector H-9, Islamabad, where many families in our community reside in tent houses. Our people live in deep poverty and struggle daily to meet their basic needs. With the support of our community members, our pastor established a small church building, and I attended church regularly. However, because of fear within my heart, I never felt worthy or confident to take on any church responsibility. Whenever I was asked to minister, fear overwhelmed me, and I felt completely unprepared.
During this time, a local evangelist visited our community to distribute free Bibles to poor and needy believers. I longed to have my own Bible so that I could read God’s Word for guidance, correction, and strength. The day I received my Bible, my heart was filled with deep joy and gratitude. It was the most precious and meaningful gift I had ever received, even more special than any Christmas gift. As I began reading the Scriptures, God spoke to me powerfully through John 14:13 and 2 Timothy 1:7–8, assuring me that He had not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
Through these verses, I received strong assurance that our God is not a God of confusion or fear. I began praying earnestly for boldness, wisdom, and strength to do God’s will without fear or weakness. The Lord faithfully answered my prayers, filled me with His Spirit, and glorified Himself in my life. Today, by the grace of God, I serve as an elder in our church and confidently preach the Gospel to my community and beyond, without shame or fear. I testify that our God never changes; He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The God who transformed my life can do even greater works in yours if you trust Him and remain committed to His will.
I give heartfelt thanks to the Wish Foundaton for blessing many believers with the precious gift of God’s Word. Receiving my own Bible allowed me to study Scripture deeply and learn God’s good and perfect will for my life. God’s Word has truly transformed me, and I desire to glorify Him in all that I do. Praise the Lord.

TESTIMONY OF SUSAN BIBI

This testimony is very important to me because it tells of the wonderful work God has done in my life. My name is Susan, and I live in a village near Sheikhupura city. After the death of my husband, I was left alone to care for my children. Life became very difficult, and fear filled my heart. Like most people in our village, I worked in the fields to survive. God blessed me with five children—three sons and two daughters—who are now grown and married. During those painful days after my husband’s death, I felt helpless and lonely, but I cried out to the Lord in prayer, asking for His help and strength.

One day our pastor preached from Deuteronomy 31:6, “Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” That message felt as if God was speaking directly to me. My faith was renewed, and I chose to trust the Lord instead of living in fear. I held on to the promise that God loves me and would never abandon me. From that day, I found strength in knowing that fear does not come from God and that He had already delivered me many times before.

For many years, my greatest desire was to have my own Bible so I could study God’s Word and grow closer to Him. I asked my pastor many times, but there were no extra Bibles available. Even so, I continued to spend time at church reading from the pastor’s Bible or from others whenever I could. I waited patiently and prayed, trusting that God would provide. After many years, our pastor came to my home and joyfully told me that I would soon receive my own Bible. When the day finally came and I held my Bible in my hands, it felt like I was holding the greatest treasure of my life. I praised the Lord with all my heart.

I am deeply thankful to the Royal Ambassadors of Christ for making it possible for me to receive my own Bible. I waited many years for this blessing, and God answered my prayer before the end of my life. His Word is now my comfort, my strength, and my joy. I boldly testify that God loves me, He keeps His promises, and He never forsakes His people. May God richly bless everyone who shares His Word with needy believers. Glory to God.

TESTIMONY OF ROBINA AYYUB

My name is Robina Ayyub, and I am from Sector H-9/2, Islamabad. Today we live in tent houses, but earlier my family lived in Mehrabadi, Islamabad, in a small rented home. We are four siblings. My father works for the town committee, and my mother works in other people’s houses to support our family. My elder sister helped my mother, while my brother was able to attend a nearby government school. Because of our poor financial condition, my sister and I could not continue our education. Life was difficult, but living together under one roof still gave us a sense of security and peace.

Everything changed when a Christian girl, Rimsha Masih, was falsely accused in a blasphemy case. After that incident, the entire Christian community in Mehrabadi faced severe persecution. Our homes were attacked, and it became impossible to live there safely. Many families were forced to flee and hide in jungles, and children had to stop going to school. The government later settled persecuted families near the graveyard in Sector H-9/2, where people built tent houses to survive. Because we were tenants, our landlord forced us to leave, and we also ended up living in a tent. I often look back and wonder how suddenly and painfully our lives changed.

My brothers eventually resumed their schooling, while my father and mother continued working daily. Many times, I was left alone in our tent, which was made of tree branches and covered with cloth—offering little protection. I never imagined that such a terrible trial was waiting for me. One day, while I was alone and cleaning the tent, a Muslim boy entered. I was terrified. He assaulted me brutally, and I lost consciousness. When my mother and sister returned, they found me in a devastating condition. Our home was filled with cries and sorrow. My life felt shattered, and I felt as though everything had ended for me.

My parents reported the crime to the police, and the boy was arrested. I was taken to the hospital for treatment. This incident happened in September 2013 and left deep scars on my heart and life. My family stood by me as my greatest support, encouraging me when I had no strength to face anyone. My grandmother came to stay with me so I would not be alone. Even today, the pain remains, and people try to pressure my family to forget and compromise, but my parents continue to seek justice. I firmly believe in the justice of our Lord, who sees everything and will judge righteously.

In the midst of this darkness, God showed me His mercy and grace. The boy who harmed me remains in jail, and I trust God completely with the outcome. Recently, through the kindness of a brother in Christ, I received a sewing machine. This gift brought great comfort and hope into my life. I was told that this would help me earn a living from home so I would not have to go outside. This act of love reminded me that goodness still exists and that God uses people to heal broken lives.

I thank God for His continuous mercy and for this precious blessing, which allows me to earn with dignity and rebuild my life step by step. I am deeply grateful to everyone who helped me during this painful journey. Please keep me and my family in your prayers, that our faith may remain strong and unshaken. May the Lord bless you all.

TESTIMONY OF RAZIA SAMUEL

My name is Razia Samuel. I am 30 years old and live in Sector G-7/3, Islamabad. I was born into a very poor family. My father, 65 years old, works as a cleaner and earns only 1500–2000 rupees per month. I have one brother and four sisters. My brother studies and helps my father by giving home tuitions, two of my sisters are married, and my youngest sister stays at home to care for me.

I was a healthy child, but at the age of nine, I was severely affected by polio because I had not been vaccinated. My legs became extremely weak, and I could not stand on my own. The polio also affected my hands, leaving my fingers curved and painful, which made simple tasks very difficult. My parents bought crutches to help me move, but I longed to live a useful life and contribute to our family. With their support, I learned stitching through a three-month course offered by a welfare organization. My father even managed to buy me a second-hand sewing machine, and I began earning in my limited way.

Five years ago, a doctor suggested surgery to correct my legs, and my parents, trusting in God’s guidance, agreed. Unfortunately, the operation failed, leaving my legs weaker than before. I can no longer walk comfortably with crutches and now use a wheelchair. One leg even fractured, making movement even more painful. Despite these challenges, I have my skill in stitching, which has been my lifeline.

By God’s incredible mercy, I have now received a brand-new sewing machine with an electric motor and table, which will allow me to work more efficiently from home. I also received my very first Bible, a precious gift that fills my heart with gratitude. God has always been with me through every trial, giving me a loving family, hope, and a purpose. I know that He works behind the scenes to bless His children.

I thank God for His unending love and for using a kind brother to provide me with this life-changing gift. I pray that the Lord blesses everyone who ministers to the needy and poor, and may they receive abundant blessings for their generosity. God is truly good, and His mercy sustains me every day.

TESTIMONY OF HINA EMMANUEL

My name is Hina Emmanuel, and I am 25 years old. I am the eldest of five sisters, and I have always felt a responsibility to care for them. Our family was once whole and happy. My father was loving and devoted, always encouraging us to study well and pursue our dreams. My mother was a caring housewife, and life was beautiful. But in 2010, our lives changed forever when my father passed away from a heart attack. His loss left a deep void in our hearts, yet his love and encouragement continue to guide us. I began giving home tuitions while finishing my graduation to help my mother provide for our family.

Then, on the night of December 23, 2012, another tragedy struck. A gas leak caused a terrible explosion in our home. The fire spread quickly, and I watched in horror as my mother was engulfed in flames. I tried to save her, but I, along with my sisters, also got burned in the process. The community helped rescue us, and we were taken to the burn center. My mother suffered burns over 80% of her body and, despite her struggle, she passed away. That night, our lives were shattered, and we were left to rebuild from nothing.

After the hospital, we had to start our lives anew. By God’s grace, we found shelter through a kind organization, and I now work there to support myself and my sisters. One of my sisters also gives home tuitions. Life is still full of challenges, but we trust in God’s mercy and protection. Recently, I received a sewing machine from the Wish Foundation, which will allow me to earn a living from home. I also received my own new Bible, replacing the old torn one I had. These gifts are blessings from God, reminding me of His love and care, and encouraging me to grow in faith.

Through these trials, I have learned to see life differently. I know that God values me, loves me deeply, and has a plan for my life. I pray that He continues to strengthen my sisters and me, keeping us in His mighty hands. I am grateful to everyone who has been a blessing to us and ask you to keep us in your prayers as we continue to trust and serve our Lord. God is faithful, and His mercies never end.

TESTIMONY OF MARRY ANGEL

My name is Marry Angel. I am a student of class five, living in sector H-9, Islamabad, Pakistan. I come from a very poor family, and we live in a tent house. Despite our struggles, I am so thankful to the Lord for blessing me with God-fearing parents who want me and my brothers and sisters to grow in His grace. They send us regularly to Sunday school organized by our church, and I love learning about the Lord there.

It had been my greatest desire to have my own Bible so that I could study God’s Word personally and grow closer to Him. I asked my parents to buy one, and they encouraged me to pray. Every day I prayed, “Lord, please bless me with my own Bible this Christmas.” On the day of our Sunday school Christmas celebration, I was nervous as I looked at the table full of gifts. I could not see a Bible anywhere and felt a little disappointed. But when my teacher announced my name, she handed me a Children’s Bible! My heart was filled with joy and gratitude. I started crying and praising the Lord for answering my prayers.

I am so thankful to the Royal Ambassadors of Christ for sending free Children’s Bibles to needy kids like me. My own Bible is now my greatest treasure, and I will cherish it and read it every day to learn more about God. I pray for everyone involved in this ministry, that God blesses you abundantly for spreading His Word and touching the lives of so many children like me.
